MUSIC: Chamber Orchestra Concert

    Corpus Christi Chamber Orchestra at Del Mar College
    in Concert

    Rescheduled from last fall, the Corpus Christi Chamber Orchestra at Del Mar College is pleased to feature 13-year-old composer and pianist, Haleigh Arden O'Neill for the premiere performance of her Piano Concerto No. 1 in G Minor on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 4 p.m. in Richardson Performance Hall on the College’s Heritage Campus. The young artist has performed several times, including recitals at area universities and for the Corpus Christi Music Teachers Association. O’Neill is a member of the Corpus Christi Area Youth Orchestra and has composed multiple symphonies, piano concertos, pieces for smaller ensembles and solo piano works. In addition to O’Neill’s premiere, the orchestra will perform W.A. Mozart's Symphony #41, K.551 “Jupiter” as well as the Poet and Peasant Overture by Franz Von Suppe. This concert is free and open to the public.
