Autumn is here, if you and your family are in need of help getting into the fall spirit, then head on over to Rockin’ K Farms. The South Texas venue is now open every weekend now through Sunday, Nov. 3, weather permitting.

The family fun-filled event began in 2014 and is the first woman-owned maze in Texas. “There was my mother-in-law (Traci Klepac), who had the idea and my sister-in-law (Rachelle), and I joined her. We started Rockin’ K Farms to bring something fun to South Texas out in the country where people can go to enjoy and learn a little bit about its agriculture and just have some clean, good family fun,” Klepac said.

That was the moment the three ladies joined together and created a seasonal fall maze that would quickly become an annual family tradition for everyone to attend and create memories. Over the years, the attraction grew from just the maze to now a fall festival featuring games, food, a petting zoo, cow train, sunflowers, playground, photo ops, live music, pumpkin patch, and so much more.

This year’s theme is “Creating Memories,” featuring a 6.2-acre maze. The design includes the words “Creating Memories,” a large letter K for Klepac in the center, and three pumpkins below. In 2022 the maze design was in the shape of Texas with a cowboy hat, cowboy boots and “God Bless Texas” written in the center. In 2019 featured the Corpus Christi Hooks logo, the largest Hooks logo ever created and celebrating the Hooks’ 15th season in Corpus Christi. Finally, back in 2016 the Klepacs created an homage to their favorite burger joint, Whataburger. The maze design included the Whataburger logo and the year the eatery first opened.

Rockin’ K Farms is open on the weekends in the fall from late September to the first weekend in November. The hours are Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rockin’ K Farms is located at 5508 County Road 52 in Robstown. Find more information on their Facebook and Instagram pages and for ticket information go to their website at www.rockinkmaze.com.
