Mexican American Studies Summer Seminar 2025
Presented by the Mexican American Studies Program at Del Mar College (DMC), the 11th annual MAS Summer Seminar featured local renowned artist Tony Armadillo as the guest speaker. In addition, Kalpulli Ollin Papalotl, a Mexica danza group based in Corpus Christi, gave a performance during registration and provided an informational presentation as well. This year’s presentations included topics related to identity, language, migration, the history of mariachi, and the importance of Mexican American Studies Programs, to name a few.
